BCM Navigator Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers about how BCM Navigator works, who it is for, what BCM Navigator includes, and what to expect before you start.
BCM Navigator is designed to make business continuity and operational resilience easier to understand and manage. These answers cover the questions organizations are most likely to have before using the platform.
01About BCM Navigator
What is BCM Navigator?
BCM Navigator is a guided business continuity and operational resilience platform built around 20 specialist agents. The agents support different parts of the resilience lifecycle, including business impact analysis, risk assessment, recovery strategy, crisis management, business continuity planning, disaster recovery, supplier resilience, exercising, auditing, management review, and continual improvement. The platform is designed to help organizations build resilience as a connected capability rather than manage separate documents in isolation.
Is BCM Navigator just a library of templates?
No. BCM Navigator is built around guided specialist workflows, not a static template library. Templates or structured outputs may form part of the work, but the platform is designed to help users gather information, work through decisions, identify gaps, develop outputs, and maintain connected organizational context.
Who is BCM Navigator for?
BCM Navigator is designed for professionals responsible for business continuity, resilience, information security, compliance, risk, and IT. That includes Business Continuity Managers, Resilience Professionals, CISOs, Information Security Managers, Compliance Managers, Risk Managers, IT Managers, CTOs, and CIOs. It is also designed to be usable by professionals who have resilience responsibilities but are not dedicated BCM specialists.
02How the Platform Works
How many specialist agents does BCM Navigator have?
BCM Navigator has 20 specialist agents across six lifecycle phases: Plan, Analyze, Design, Implement, Validate, and Improve. They launch in stages: 12 are available now, and every plan includes each remaining agent as it launches, at no extra cost.
Does every plan include every specialist agent?
Yes. Every plan includes every specialist agent as it launches, all six lifecycle phases, and the same features. Plans differ only by the number of paid users. Essential Recovery Capability, Structured Operational Resilience, and Comprehensive BCMS Alignment describe organizational resilience objectives, not separate purchasable tiers.
Does BCM Navigator decide what my organization should do?
No. BCM Navigator provides structured guidance, analysis, prompts, and drafting support. Your organization remains responsible for understanding its operations, making decisions, validating information, approving outputs, and determining what is appropriate for its circumstances.
Does BCM Navigator replace a business continuity professional?
No. BCM Navigator provides AI-assisted guidance designed to support professional judgment, not replace it. It can help professionals work through a structured process and can also support organizations that do not have a dedicated BCM specialist, but accountability remains with the organization.
03Tenant Knowledge Base
What is the Tenant Knowledge Base?
The Tenant Knowledge Base is the dedicated organizational knowledge repository used within your BCM Navigator environment. It stores validated organizational context and finalized outputs that can be used by relevant specialist agents as your resilience program develops.
Is the Tenant Knowledge Base shared with other customers?
No. Your Tenant Knowledge Base is specific to your organization and is not shared with other organizations; it is visible only to people your Owner invites to the workspace.
What type of information can be stored in the Tenant Knowledge Base?
Depending on the work you complete, it can include validated information such as organizational parameters, critical activities and functions, business impact information, risks and treatments, dependencies, recovery strategies, planning information, and finalized deliverables. This allows related specialist workflows to build on context already established elsewhere in your program.
04Existing Documents
Can we use BCM Navigator if we already have BCM documents?
Yes. BCM Navigator is designed to support organizations that already have policies, Business Impact Analyses, plans, recovery documents, and other resilience material. Relevant specialist workflows can assess existing documents and help identify what can be retained, what should be improved, and what may still be missing. Documents in areas covered by available specialists are assessed now; others are kept and reviewed as each specialist launches.
Do we have to rebuild everything from scratch?
No. Existing work can be brought into the process where supported. The objective is to build on useful material rather than replace it simply because it was created before BCM Navigator was introduced.
05Standards and Compliance
Is BCM Navigator aligned with ISO 22301?
BCM Navigator’s architecture draws on ISO 22301 and related business continuity standards. The platform supports the work required to build and maintain a standards-aligned management system, but it does not guarantee certification or compliance.
Which standards and frameworks inform BCM Navigator?
The platform architecture draws on recognized standards and frameworks including ISO 22301, ISO 22313, ISO 22317, ISO 31000, ISO 27031, ISO 22398, ISO 19011, DORA, NIS2, APRA CPS 230, SAMA BCM, and CBUAE Rulebook. These provide structure behind the platform methodology.
Do I need to understand ISO clauses before using BCM Navigator?
No. BCM Navigator is designed to turn standards-informed structure into practical workflows. Users should be able to work through the relevant activities without beginning with clause-by-clause interpretation.
06Plans and Pricing
What billing periods are available?
Every plan can be billed monthly, quarterly, or annually. Quarterly billing saves 10%, and annual billing gives you two months free. Plans start at $249 per month.
What does every plan include?
Every plan includes every specialist agent as it launches, the orchestrator that plans and guides your work, one dedicated Tenant Knowledge Base, and one legal organization per subscription. Every plan also includes unlimited guest Contributors and up to 20 free Sponsors and Viewers combined. Plans differ only by the number of paid users: Professional (1 paid user), Enterprise Entry (5 paid users), Enterprise Mid (10 paid users), and Enterprise Top (25 paid users).
What are guest Contributors?
Contributors are people outside your paid team, such as department heads or subject experts, whom you invite to answer specific questions. They use a secure link that expires and can be revoked, need no account, and see only the questions assigned to them. Contributors are unlimited and don't count toward your paid users.
What are Sponsors and Viewers?
Sponsors are senior people who review and approve your work; Viewers can read it. Both are free, up to 20 combined per workspace, and neither counts toward your paid users.
Does one subscription cover multiple organizations?
No. Each subscription covers one legal organization and its own workspace. Consultants can use one login for many client organizations; each client organization needs its own plan. Groups of companies set up each legal entity as its own workspace; contact us for group arrangements.
Can we change plans or billing periods later?
Yes. You can move between plans and between monthly, quarterly, and annual billing.
Is there a usage limit?
Each workspace has a monthly fair-use AI allowance, shown as a percentage used over three windows: the last 24 hours, the last 7 days, and the calendar month. When any window reaches 100%, new AI work pauses until that window resets or you move to a larger plan. There are never automatic overage charges.
Taxes and countries
Prices are in US dollars, and applicable taxes are added at checkout. Organizations from any country can subscribe. Tailored regulatory guidance covers the United States, Canada, the Philippines, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates; organizations elsewhere get ISO 22301-based guidance.

Is there a free trial?
No. BCM Navigator does not offer a free trial.

Subscriptions open at launch. Contact us and we'll let you know when they open.
Is there a lock-in?
No. There are no setup fees and no lock-in: you can cancel at any time, and access continues to the end of the period you have paid for.
08Annual Billing and Refunds
How does annual billing work?
Annual billing gives you two months free: you pay for ten months and get twelve, with exactly the same features as monthly and quarterly billing.
Can we get a refund?
Monthly plans: no refund for the current month. Quarterly plans: a full refund if you ask within 14 days of your first payment. Annual plans: a full refund if you ask within 30 days of your first payment. Renewals are not refundable. After cancelling, access continues to the end of the period you have paid for.
09Progress and Updates
Can I stop and continue later?
Yes. BCM Navigator is designed for resilience work that may continue across multiple sessions. Progress and checkpoints can be retained so you can return and continue from where you stopped.
What happens if we change an earlier decision?
BCM Navigator is designed to track relationships between connected parts of the resilience program. If an important upstream parameter changes, related downstream work can be flagged for review. This helps reduce the risk of plans and other outputs becoming inconsistent with updated assumptions.
Can completed work be updated later?
Yes. Completed specialist areas remain available so you can revisit them when organizational circumstances, assumptions, risks, dependencies, or requirements change.
